Retail Therapy
A satirical commentory of the intersection of consumerism and desire being the most 'effective' method of ignorance. The ease of fulfilment through materialism and building a persona rather than self-reflective psychological exploration. The same comparable retail therapy buzz of that instant lift from Prozac - self-medication at it's finest.
Also looking at the abserdity of modern commodification of mental health. It's growing unaccessability becoming another product to be consumed for the right price or status symbol. Encouraging reflection on the values and priorities of contemporary culture.
Most importantly I'm a self confessed shopaholic.
